This is my most recent customer project. Summe Design asked me to set this up utilizing a "lytebox style" gallery and a slideshow in the homepage.

I tried to do some progressive enhancement with rounded corners and drop-shadows, much like on this site, but after seeing the site on Internet Explorer 8, the customer said he liked the square edges and no shadows.

This website was designed by Summe Design.

This is the website for the church I have been attending since 2006. I took over the site in 2007 after I noticed that it appeared to have been abandoned by the previous maintainer.

I used this website to hone my skills over probably three iterations of the site before settling on the most current one. The template has not been tampered with too much from the one I purchased for it, but I have made some modifications to the sermon delivery method so that it will work natively in most browsers, including Apple's mobile devices, without Flash, which is what the base audio player uses.

This website was done for the Northern Kentucky Tea Party after the previous maintainer left the group. Since a majority of the members were unhappy with the previous WordPress design, it gave me an opportunity to build a new site.

At the time, I was still using purchased themes, but made several changes to get the theme to create the look I was trying to acheive.

The Northern Kentucky Tea Party started a campaign to end the NKAPC tax in Kenton County and asked that I create a website focused on that effort. They were having trouble coming up with a top level domain that would be easily delivered and remembered. I suggested to just use their current domain, 'nkyteaparty.org', and add '/axethetax' at the end. That was much easier than some of the other suggestions, such as 'axe-the-nkapc-tax.com', especially since the 'nkyteaparty.org' website was already well-known. Of course, I also redirected '/axthetax' to '/axethetax' so it could be spelled either way.

I had created a few websites from scratch before, but this was the first one I did by creating my own Joomla! template from scratch and then building from there. I followed the design I created for the main NKY Tea Party site, but then made a few design and accessibility changes. It also gave me an opportunity to test out the new-at-the-time Joomla! 1.6 framework.

This website was put together very quickly after the Indiana State Fair accident in early August 2011. I was given a poster designed by a friend of Shannon's brother and asked to make a website with a similar design.

After completing the site, I made a mobile version and ran into a problem in that PayPal doesn't have a mobile payments site. I worked around this by serving different info to mobile devices telling users how to set up their phones to do TXT donations and/or donate by installing the PayPal mobile app.

This was the first website that I created a mobile version. At the time, I hadn't figured out how to do responsive design, and wound up using browser sniffing to send a separate style sheet instead.

I wanted to add some extra finishing touches, but the customer specifically said they wanted the basic design.
